HUG A STRANGER!

Sometimes, a hug is all what we need. Free hugs is a real life controversial story of Juan Mann, A man whose sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives.

Fun with Family and Friends

Hey everyone! Thanks to Josh's family and his lovely wife for keeping us in their home. We had a very nice time and so enjoyed Annie and McKenzie. What sweet little girls! Grams is feeling better, but was very tired and road weary after such a big trip. We were glad to be back in our own beds,(so were the dogs)! Tootie loved Bean and Corky T, she licked them and sat with them and wanted to play. It was cute. Pastor Tipton named his new Beagle," Miss Molly". He has taken it all over town and is so thrilled with his new friend. Thanks again to Josh and Angela. Jere and Sara looked good and fit. And Miss Jen is still having a lot of laundry to do. We are so proud of all of our family, good people! MeMa

Birthday Party---Steak and Cake

Everyone: Daddo turned 58 years young yesterday. Thanks for all your nice thoughts, gifts, calls and prayers. We did have a party with lots of good food and gag gifts and Daddo playing the guitar. We have a game "Deal or No Deal" it was fun. Dad's staff came to share with us and Grandma bought the wine. Fun Evening! Aunt Rosealees' family is having a struggle, Aunt Pam called asking us to pray for Roses' family. Hoping to see Bob and Kat and family when we come back to Kansas. Talked with Jubers' , and enjoyed Patrick's song about the Vail hat. Love to all, MeMa

Tornado weather in Virginia!

So I'm in Roanoke Virginia and Patrick sent me a youtube video of his new song..."Vail Hat Blues"....silly kid. Mom I was telling you about how Patrick wrote me and told me the hat I gave him from Vail started to fade and rip, and smelled a little funny but he told me "Jube...I'll never throw it away." I love that kid. So check out his video.

Other than that...I'm doing great. Love that I'm heading south. Everythings much cheaper down here. Tyler's show in New York was fantastic and he has another job already lined up with another theatre company so New York is really working out for him. I met some great people this time around in New York and I really can't wait to go back! I only have a another month and a half of the tour and I'm ready to start coming home! Will call daddo on his birthday this thursday. Let me know when you get your package. I love you very much and miss you all!
Muah!!!

Outdoor Woman

Hey everyone! I am now an official North Dakota Macho Woman! My neighbor,Lori and I went to the Lake and took a course in Snowshoeing and Tracking (Wild Animals)! Oh My! How fun was that? We spent the afternoon looking for coyotes and weasle and mink and beaver, and of course, lots of deer. Our group had 11 women and two Mountain men,(nice to look at from behind). We were in the Metaghosie Wilderness and on the Lake, with old fashioned snowshoes. We all took turns falling in the snow,if you didn't keep your toes straight, down you went. And getting up was a whole different ballgame. We hiked 3 miles thru the tundra and brush and Pine trees, beautiful day, around 34 degrees and no wind. The guide was very informative and had alot of experience in the wilderness, sharing stories of following the Lewis and Clark Trail and re-inacting some the sights according to history. He had made all his clothing, had a coyote coat on that weighed 25 lbs. I thought maybe I was on the show Women verses Wild, (oh no that's Man verses Wild), anyway it was great fun, will try next year for the Dog Sledding adventures. The Fish and Game department only do this once a year in Feb and March, and you have to apply early to get a spot. Sure was fun. Dad wishes he could have gone but this time only Women, Yea! We are all fine. Good Luck Jayhawks vs. Wildcats! Hope Jube has a super time at the SHOW, on Broadway. Love to all, Mema
