Adventures in Arizona!

Ty and Me on top of Pinnacle Peak

Hello Family!
Jenna Ben: I'm so glad you enjoyed your time in New Orleans. Your pictures are great and it looks like you girls had a great time! I love that city....so much culture and shenanigans to experience! Love it! Yay! (oh...and I am sad faced over KU! Sad moment!)
So: Update....are you ready? are you ready? Cause this is gonna be fast!
Crissy and I took on another roommate: Tyler from St. Mary. He moved last month from New York and is now rockin the house with more St. Mary Alum "ness" and we're so excited to have him (especially me! Since Crissy is constantly away on business I am usually left alone: now I have Ty and we have been going on as many adventures we can before the Arizona heat turns to unbareably HOT!)
Crissy and I also had a friend from KC visit (Alex) who has never seen mountains in his life before so he was excited to be surrounded by them here. Escaping the bitter cold in KC to a beautiful 80+ degree paradise...he was hesitant to go home after the weekend. I took him on a hike....and not be used to mountains...he made it half way and called it good....(note: drink lots of water when outside in AZ heat...the sun sucks the life right out of you when you're not careful!)
I'm still looking for a part time job to keep my head above water...not a lot of film investment going on these days! But, I'm still hangin with the company and in the meantime I'm looking for something to keep busy and help me out financially....so if you all could pray for me that would be awesome!
Last bit: I GOT NEW CAMERAS!! My good friend from kansas donated two of his old digital cameras to me (he was gonna chuck them and I immediately spoke up...ummm HELLO!!??...so YAY!)
I've been free form rock climbing and hiking with Ty on a regular basis...(free form is basically a chalk bag and a prayer to Jesus as you scale a very high vertical mountain face!) It's sooooo much fun! And I get to take tons of pics! So I selected a few from the past week I thought you all might enjoy! Take a peek...Sorry the slide show isn't bigger...I don't know how to run that thing.....
LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL!
Mom: come visit me!!!!!

Pictures!!

Here are pictures from the trip! Sorry their not in order, i can't figure this thing out?
Whatever, i can't figure any of this out and i am giving up: so without captions i'll tell you the feel of it: we got a saint patty's parade, the french market with street preformers. Lots of live music with musicians.
My friends are Kelly and Liz, with our guy friends from Latin America (Peru, Bolivia, and Venezuela) Carlos, Gonzalo, Javiar, and Edwardo, and Collin (collin is american). We also found a cute irishman who liz is standing next to.
Oh and there's also a picture of us on the trolly. We made a list of irrational fears... one one was "getting hit by a trolly".... (haha).

NEW ORLEANS!!!!!

Hey Everyone!!! For Spring Break, me and my friends Kelly and Liz went to New Orleans! It was aaaamazing!! So here is our story ;)
It was a 14 hour drive, but it was okay, cause we had Thad's GPS.... (we called her Karen), to direct us. She actually made us back track a couple times, but overall was very helpful. Especially in the New Orleans traffic, which was hella annoying. Who designed that traffic system? ugh!!!
First off, our hotel was SKETCH-ville! There were hoodlems hangin out, loitering at our elevators and in our lobby... pretty scary. And they were always making comments like "heeey gurrrl! you lookin fine!" no... not cool. But what can we expect for 30 bucks a night?
We visted the French Market, all the shops, Jackson Square, the River Walk, the mall (which was wayyy to expensive fo us po folk), and of course, Bourbon street!
We ate amazing food as well... I had catfish, alligator, and crawfish etoullfet... all very delicious! We ate at a restaurant called Mothers... a famous restaruant down there.. pretty local. It was on Man vs. Food off the travel channel... so i had to go!
On St. Patty's Day, we went to a local deli and met an Irishman named David... when we left... of course we began talking about how cute he was and how sexy his irish accent was....
SOOO... about 4 blocks away, he had ran and caught up to us, probably heard what we were talking about, and asked us to have a drink with him that night...!!!!! Soooo, we did. Of course.
Our last night, we found out about the local jazz bars on the very out skirts of the french market... and we went there for some amazing jazz!!! Perfect ending...
We all had a great time! Thanks to Daddo!!! Love you! Hope you all are doing well! Prayers for Grandma!
