Will write more later. Crissy and I are still upacking but we've had a chance to explore a little bit. We live in a really great place in Scottsdale...near a lot of shops and places to eat and theatres. Considerably more upscale than KC....I feel just a little out place but I know I'll get used to it. Me and Crissy hooked up with a few friends we knew from KC and we've been hanging out with them for the past few days. It's really nice to know someone here......makes the move easier. I have a couple of interviews this week for jobs....so pray for me the coming week. Might go to the mountains south of Flagstaff for the 4th of July with Crissy and Alex. Don't have a lot of news....just trying to settle in to a new city. Missing you all. Love you....and hope that if anyone comes to visit the west, you'll keep me in mind.

Saying Goodbye To Kansas City

Well, here I am...still packing and getting organized for the move. We leave next Wednesday. Crissy leaves for North Carolina for a regional manager meeting. She is officially promoted this week. She'll be back next Tuesday night and that next morning we say goodbye to Kansas and Missouri and head west. While she is gone my job is to finalize everything so we are ready to move in a week. I still have quite a bit of packing to do and phone calls to make. So I'm staying busy. I didn't make it back to Belleville last weekend for the reunion because of the time crunch and financial conservation. Gas prices are beatin my butt. Crissy and I got a nice apartment in Scottsdale at the Camden San Paloma.

Things are changing and I hate to leave my family and friends. I'll miss everyone very much. I'm moving forward and excited for a change and new adventures. I know God has a plan for me and I know Arizona was definitely not a plan I would have made. When I was on tour and performing one of the shows in Phoenix, the artistic director of an improv/blackbox theatre (Space 55) came up and addressed me directly. She said she loved my work on stage and said I was very funny and would love it if I would audition for her company. I told her I wasn't local but recently told her I'm moving to the area and she is excited to meet me and hopefully she will have a postion for me in the acting company of Space 55.

I am also in the process of conditioning the cats for the 19 hour drive we'll make next week. I have to take them on drives so the get used to the car and know I'm not taking them to the vet. I also had to buy leashes for them so they can get out of the car when we stop. I'm hoping they won't freak out too bad.

I wish I could come see everyone before I leave but I neither have the time or money to do either. Crissy's family through us a nice BBQ going away party. That was nice. We all played poker. I lost and became the dealer. Bluffing is just not my thing I guess. However, since I'm in Phoenix, if anyone is up for a Vegas vacation.....just call....and I'm there!

That's all from me tonight. Crissy is spending the night with the staff from both of the studios here in KC. They're throwing a going away party for her in the Plaza. I'm staying home.

Where is Everyone?

Good Morning: Hoping to find a new blog from someone, but not! I know everyone is busy. We are all fine at this end. Gas prices soaring, and Obama is running for President, and Grams is concerned about all those colored people in the White House. She says," Are they really that smart?" How funny? We laugh alot!! I am working PRN for the Good Sam's Rest Home here, I take residents to their appointments in the VAN in Minot. Taking patients is going well, but backing the VAN back into the Garage with an inch on either side is unnerving!!! I'm meeting alot of new people. I volunteered to do the Community Picnic on the June 26th, have invited other towns. They are having a Fund Raiser to promote the New Ambluance Barn. So businesses are going to have a chair race ( office chairs) down main street!! How Fun! Dad has one more weekend to work Conv. Care and he is off until last of July. Jen called, is coming today! Jube Ann is moving to Scottsdale, Az. Things are working out for her and Chrissy. We will keep all of you in our prayers. Would like to hear from Jere and Josh on the Blog!! You can do it guy!!
