Okay: Details details. I got a new job a little breakfast and lunch venue called
Bacon here in Old Town Scottsdale; a trendy little place that keeps busy. It's so much fun and very relaxed. No stress...so yay! The film company is still looking to get financed so until then everything is on hold. In the mean time I've been taking more and more photographs around the city and my goal for this summer is to get into a gallery here in Old Town.
A few weeks ago Tyler comes running into the house early in the morning and screams for me to come and see. Right outside our apartment was a colony of
bees swarming above our light. Couldn't explain it! It was an amazing site. They came, swarmed around our outside light for about two hours, and then in an instant not a single bee could be found. Strange but very cool. So of course I took the opportunity to do a bit of bee charming and got as close I could to shoot some photos.

Later on in the week, me and Tyler met an interesting man who wandered into our complex. He came by around ten o'clock asking for a kitchen whisk. Strange request for the hour, but he told us he was a fire spin from Australia and would teach us a bit. So Tyler and I learned about spinning fire! How fun. Very HOT! But fun....
I took on the
baton...fire rod with each end lit and Tyler took to the chains! It was a truly exhilarating experience. I reverted back to my days of being a baton twirler....yay for sticking me in those lessons MiMa...otherwise I might have singed every bit of hair off my head!
So besides bacon, bees, and batons...I'm super excited for baseball this season. I have tickets to the Diamondback Cubs series this coming week....yay cubbies! Jeff Santo (my former boss and son of Ron Santo....Cubs player in the '60s) gives me tickets to the DBacks games when he doesn't want to go....so yay for me!
Everyone is doing well. I'm so happy for my new job! Thank you all for your prayers.
Miss you tons and know anyone can feel free to visit anytime!
All my love- Jube
