DIY

Hey everyone! Awesome turkey josh and jere :) Take me hunting this summer! I've never been. Thinking about coming over for a few days to see my nieces and fish with my brothers after finals is finally over!! And maybe sometime, I was thinking of bringing all my "johnson county" friends to my small town... since they've never seen one. Haha. You guys should let me know your summer plans so I can visit!! :)
Anyway, I was just gonna drop this Do It Yourself on here. I was gonna send it to Mom, but I thought Jube and Sara might like this too!
It's called Moss Graffiti! It's an awesome way of decorating outside walls and doing home decoration. It is just a combination of yogurt, sugar, and moss clumps, blended in a blender. This is an artist who does some designer work using the medium:

Anna Garforth
check out her work
on this blog

Also... here's the
DIY website if you
guys wanna try it.

Plus!!!!
+ I found all of these sweet
DIY's at the Design Sponge
website!

Anyway... I know Mom was looking for some cool stuff to do on her spare time. Thought that was awesome. My friends and I are gonna do moss graffiti together.. maybe on the art building. :) Love you guys! >>Jenna

Dancing Queen & Mic Mac Funny Pants

Hi Family, Have a few pictures of the girls, Annika is our special dancer and Kenz is just a ham. They are getting bigger everyday and smarter too. Annika is our tiny dancer who did such a wonderful job at her dance recital, whe was absolutley a doll and did exactly what she was supposed to do, she likes a crowd, she did wave to mommy and daddy alot though which was funny. She is very outgoing. We like to think Annika knows more then most 10 year olds, she is always asking lots of questions and giving us the answers before we can say anything. Her favorite word is Mom, Mommy, and Mommy this, Mommy that, Mommy can I, Mommy what etc. Kenzi is very funny, everything she sees that is brown on the ground is poop. She can be a little rough at times, but she is still a dolly, she learns a new word almost everyday now and we never know whats coming. Our daycare providers sister-in-law is deaf so they learn sign language at daycare, and instead of saying thank you, Kenzi uses sign language to tell us. I could go on forever about our angels and everything they do to make our days. Here are some pictures, love you all, will have hunting stories coming.

Bacon, Bees, Batons O Fire and Baseball!

Okay: Details details. I got a new job a little breakfast and lunch venue called Bacon here in Old Town Scottsdale; a trendy little place that keeps busy. It's so much fun and very relaxed. No stress...so yay! The film company is still looking to get financed so until then everything is on hold. In the mean time I've been taking more and more photographs around the city and my goal for this summer is to get into a gallery here in Old Town.
A few weeks ago Tyler comes running into the house early in the morning and screams for me to come and see. Right outside our apartment was a colony of bees swarming above our light. Couldn't explain it! It was an amazing site. They came, swarmed around our outside light for about two hours, and then in an instant not a single bee could be found. Strange but very cool. So of course I took the opportunity to do a bit of bee charming and got as close I could to shoot some photos.

Later on in the week, me and Tyler met an interesting man who wandered into our complex. He came by around ten o'clock asking for a kitchen whisk. Strange request for the hour, but he told us he was a fire spin from Australia and would teach us a bit. So Tyler and I learned about spinning fire! How fun. Very HOT! But fun....
I took on the baton...fire rod with each end lit and Tyler took to the chains! It was a truly exhilarating experience. I reverted back to my days of being a baton twirler....yay for sticking me in those lessons MiMa...otherwise I might have singed every bit of hair off my head!

So besides bacon, bees, and batons...I'm super excited for baseball this season. I have tickets to the Diamondback Cubs series this coming week....yay cubbies! Jeff Santo (my former boss and son of Ron Santo....Cubs player in the '60s) gives me tickets to the DBacks games when he doesn't want to go....so yay for me!

Everyone is doing well. I'm so happy for my new job! Thank you all for your prayers.
Miss you tons and know anyone can feel free to visit anytime!

All my love- Jube

Going Green

Hey everyone!! How is everything, (nice photos bue! i miss you!)
I was just gonna share with you guys about this speaker that I had come talk in my class the other day, Simran Sethi. She's a huge advocate for green design and the making the world and the communities we live in more sustainable. She was an amazing speaker.. and she actually left Kansas to appear on Oprah on Wednesday. She's been on t.v. a lot spreading the ideas of how we can make our lives more environment friendly. And she is responsible for the Greensburg project and the rebuilding of their town. My next video will be a PSA on Greening Greensburg... so I wanted to share with you guys what is going on there right now: it's called the Good Fight.
Anyway, thought it was interesting since we all live in small towns... you can see how they are rebuilding that town right now. Very interesting... Oh, and here is another video that I made... kinda a network ID for VH1. :) Love you all!!!
